Saint Joseph School is established in 1999, is a Christian minority educational institution. It is managed by St. Thomas Trust Bhavnagar, Saint Chavara Vice Province of the CMI Congregation. The Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous religious order of Catholic priests and brothers, founded in 1831 by Saint Kuriakose Elias, took up education as service to the nation from the time of its founding fathers. Saint Kuriakose Elias was a man ahead of his time and laid the foundation for the educational, social and other progressive fields of service to humanity in which the congregation is engaged at present.
The management considers the school as a powerful agent of change forming 'new persons' who foster universal and eternal values and are fully alive to bring about a just society. We strive to develop responsible decision-making, leadership and lifelong learning.
Our co-curricular programs enrich classroom learning by offering meaningful hands-on experiences. Through sports, arts, competitions, and student clubs, learners develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, and the values needed to succeed in every aspect of life.
